well all the drying and such are also not done by animals...and also animals eat what they like, so trying to compare animal dietary habbits to humans just annoys me...Since i am still pretty young and though a little bit overweight still healthy i dont really feel sudden changes after dietary changes...however sice i am on a high protein/semi low carb diet i feel a lot better and i dont even feel the need to control my hunger...I stopped overeating without even trying!
and for the bad times,I have looked at the red indian way of preparing for the winter..'Pemmican', please have a look at it! I make it myself and of course I dry the organ meat too, it lasts a long time,is raw and can be eaten anywhere with hardly any weight to it. I do hill climbing and 20-30 mile hikes now, something I'd not be able to do before, when I felt sluggish, addicted to sugar.Just the Enzyme side of it all tells me that raw is the way to eat, why would we be the ONLY species to cook?
removed already. Anyhow, I don't know about the placebo effect, but I do know that my energy levels are way up, my joint problems have ceased to exist (caused by plant oils, hemp for example) my skin is much better (no more dry elbows) my hair has become thicker once more (no gray with 40) fingernails have no more white spots, teeth are white(ish) from yucky yellow. I have lost almost two stone (put on by eating my own bread and pasta and >crap<) if it is all caused by placebo then placebos rules
I know there is some carbs contained in the eggs, but since I only eat Ox-heart (raw),liver, kidney (mostly dried at 36ºC/95F) belly pork (raw) and even had raw chicken!! Duck eggs, some hen eggs, Goose eggs and raw beef fat I wonder where the dietary fibre would come from. I think all of this is easily digestible for the cell walls and the therein contained 70-70% water are absorbed and leached by the stomach acid, whereby heated food is mostly 'shut off' due to the water being
Anyway these "xy type"diet stuff are pretty much tricky...and so many times create the placebo effect if you believe in them...
You know veggies claim that it's the healthiest way, you claim this is the healthiest way, and all claim they feel better since they dont eat /only eat meat and eggs etc..
I'm an amateur bodybuilder and i use ketosis too(I'm endomorph:S)but it also has its side effects in a long run...It highly increases the chance to get colon cancer for one example...
@PupsLeonandI that's why i said vitamins shouldnt be a problem..
Anyway..i hardly believe in absolute zero carb diet..about 30-40 g is really handy especially for brain(yes i know body can create glycogen itselff, but still its better if you consume it in carbs...)
Hovewer i believe that even your "zero carb" diet does contain about or close to ~30g carbs if not rom else then from some dietary fiber
