Well, the 747 is a tough nut to crack for the A380. But IMHO, neither planes will be beat.

Why can't people accept the fact that this is better than the 747. People say the 747 is classic, this will be too in 40 years, jeez -_-

A little bit of crap,just today a qantas a380 blew up an engine just 5 minutes after takeoff from changi,singapore and was forced to make an emergency landing in singapore,pieces of the engine's cover fell in batam,indonesia.I could see it on the news on my indonesia channel on tv.

I still remember that day when my car went to a tunnel and I saw the a380 just leave the ground in Sydney

shut up. boeeing is a far better company. this plane is big but onlt temporery. u wait till a 797 comes out. airbus suck

the a380 is an impressive airline but until now why did the emirates didnt buy any b747

I'm not sure why Emirates didn't buy any 747s. I'm guessing is because there are more fuel efficient planes than the 747
