  • @jeanchangberlin Back in 1963, Hong Kong reservoirs only had water that would last for 43 days. Water restrictions were in place. At its worst, water supply was only for four hours every four days. It wasn't much fun because it was supposed to be summer, meaning it should had been typhoon season.

  • @chinkywings No, at the time the lyrics were written, it was literally what it meant. Back in 1963, Hong Kong reservoirs only had water that would last for 43 days. Water restrictions were in place. At its worst, water supply was only for four hours every four days.
