@ibleedorange2007 You gotta understand that when someone says they don't like something that Mr. Dave contributes, its gonna cause some amount of rebellion from the ranks of the Polyester Mafia.

I love the song itself, in fact it's my favorite JB song after For A Dancer. It's just the back up vocals on this particular recording that I don't like.

@ibleedorange2007 You cannot ruin a Jackson Browne song and if the harmony is not of your liking, well, thats a sad thing indeed.

Ola esta muscia la escuche en LOS AÑOS MARAVILLOSOS - el lago gracias viejo x la musica

The BV is pitched ok, but too high in the mix and JB sounds like he's a long way off mike - on playback from here the BV and LV are panned hard left and hard right respectively - would be a simple thing to lower the BV and re-mix as mono

You are right about the harmony. I would have thought he would be more attentive to the whole of the song. This is one of my favorites.

Less than mediocre harmonizing on the back up singer's part. He basically ruined it for me

Jamaica, say you will
Help me find a way to fill these lifeless sails
And stay until my ships can find the sea

silly people - it' most likely the incredible instrumentalist David Lindley on guitar who does a decent job on the harmony. David Crosby sang on the album -who is going to touch that.
