This is my personal video log of when I got Intralase Lasik Wavefront Laser Eye Surgery. I did not know what to expect and I was willing to take the risk. I just new I had to document my experience and share it with others.

  • I have researched this through and through, and came to the conclusion that I wanted it done after I saw your video here and the 4 years later.

My appointment for the Epi-LASIK is next Thursday, the 19th! I am thinking about doing a video similar to yours, because I did it interesting and everyone experiences different things. :)

Hope your vision continues to be great!

  • @eirikoala Glad that I might have helped. Good luck with yours. My eyes are still great. Probably nearly 5 years on now....I can feel another video coming on!

For me, it was such an important thing, I relaly wanted a record of it for myself. It was only afterwards that I thought about putting it on YouTube.

  • still do i have to worry when i am a kid and i have an eye surgery

  • @macdangnguyen You have to be over 18 years old to have this surgery I believe. Personally, I would tell anyone to wait until they are at least 18.

  • Does it hurt

  • @macdangnguyen No. I just had some stinging afterwards, which was quite bad for me but they do give you drops that stop that.

  • I think it would be interesting*

    Oy vey.

  • Thank you so much for putting this video, I'm due at ultralase on the 20th to get LASIK surgery and this has set my mind at ease of how I will feel afterwards

  • @MforceArts You feel alot. Although I didn't feel the flap being cut (with another laser) but you are aware that it is being flapped open because things look strange! It is kinda cool really, I did enjoy it. It's kinda like a really expensive fairground ride - bit scary but you feel great after....well, after a nights sleep. The ONLY pain I had was the stinging after the whole thing had finished but like I say, after I slept it off it was fine.
