Final Fantasy X-2 Paragon + Trema (Exodus + Trema) Part1/2

A really tough fight -at least if you're not using Cat Nip (which is totally lame and boring, btw).
Get Paragon in Oversoul by killing several Weapons in Via Infinito to avoid his magical attacks. His physical attacks are avoidable by using the Berserk's "Evade & Counter" Ability.

You'll need a high defence in the battle against Trema. Also make sure to absorb all his MP by using a Soul Spring. Using a ThreeStar would normally mean you don't lose MP when using magic but it also means that the Dark Knight won't injure herself when using Darkness. (Best Attack in this fight)
Watch out for his Meteor attack, btw.

in my fight its like he uses genesis every other turn..and it was so hard bcos my stats weren't so great....but i'd able to manage it.....when i saw yours...0_0 he never uses even one genesis........is that the effect of oversouled? aside from missing attacks.....

@spearclaw: Yes, the oversouled Paragon mostly uses physical attacks. They always missed because the girls have the 'Evade and Counter' Ability

I bribed Exodus cause I want to fight Trema that badly... About catnip I used it but never defeated trema *he always kill yuna in her base form XDD*.. I defeated him also using Dark Night Sphere and his physical attacks is just a joke XDD

Yeah no catnip!!i hate using catnip, its basically a pussies accessory whenever i hear "catnip" in via infinito i think wata pantywaste

@SquiNoa1 Yeah I know what you talking about. And it actually does sound like Fabul Castle, and the funny thing is, I'm playin it on the Super Nintendo. (On the SNES it was Final Fantasy II. It was re-released as Final Fantasy IV on the Playstation.)

my party didn't have trouble in this fight at all. all u need is to be well prepared for it. for instance; instead of gunner i use lady luck with four dice. and with some good equipment the girls will feel the strongest of attacks as a soft breeze. my equipment was.

paine: iron duke x2 GG: higger power DS: dark knight / gun mage

yuna: adamantite and iron duke GG higger power DS: dark knight

rikku: cat nip and speed bracer GG highroad wind DS lady luck

yuna was able to takebig bang nuff said.

Whenever I go in to fight Paragon, it takes me a couple trys to beat him cause he uses Genesis a lot. Though I found out that the Dark Knight can survive Genesis, but not very well cause it puts you in critical. (FYI I've recently just got back into play Final Fantasy X-2 after a couple of years.) I tried using the Gunner in critical w/ Cat Nip against Trema, and I have no such luck cause he kills my guys off so fast. I think I give this strategy a try though.
