replaced by strike-king 4s series crank for fishing shallow flats early spring before they come into spawn, silent or rattling, doesn't matter to me, they push alot of water, and have an excellent deflection quality, when you "bump the stumps" I do however sometimes switch the back hook out to a Basstar SpinTech treble, Or the Daiichi Death Trap Trebles (hard to find) for when they are just swiping at it. these hooks only go on my most used cranks. and the 2.5 is the one i throw first.
these baits are excellent, i have been fishing them since march and the only problem i found is not in the paint(which is excellent), but the bills split after you grind them around alot and catch a lot of bass.
@ryanperrey i've caught pike and bass on these and haven't had a problem with the paint chipping away. don't know what you might be doing wrong, but i've not had any problem with any of mine.

@stunts245 id say this is a little bit different than redneck fishing, go judge people elsewhere, nobody wants you here
