This Fish grow heavier as it gets older and not grow longer. It does grow bigger but the change will not be so obvious. That fish in the video is sure heavy.. base on my experience on this fish, that fish they caught should be no less than 28 kg. So when title said 35 kg, that so logic and acceptable. what makes this fish become heavier is its fat. This fish known to build fat not length.

that the real 35kg i believe. the size wont have much different. i have seen last time at tasik idaman, dengkil around 2002 where an angler caught a 48kg patin over there. the day before got another angler who caught 39kg patin at the same spot. the size wont have much different but weight is tremendously different. we're doing freshwater research at that time.
