Battle of Teutoburg Forest

I made this film in 2007 as part of an extra credit assignment for my high school Latin class. It details the destruction of three Roman legions at the hands of German tribesmen in 9 AD near what is now Kalkriese in Germany. I hope you enjoy it; I've been waiting to put it up for a while.

Nice video and good commentary. Makes me think of BBC documentaries ;) However, there could be more stopmotion during the battle ;) but good job!

@AciesFilms I would have added more stop-motion, but I was strapped for time when making the movie, so I decided to use stills. I also wasn't using terribly sophisticated stop-motion software (Windows MovieMaker, in fact), so trying to do a full stop-motion battle would have made rendering a nightmare. I plan to make a full stop-motion film soon!

Very good work, you´ve a lot of nice trees and boulders there, and a few of roman soldiers ! I know how complicate it is, to make stop motion with windows movie maker, but, if you have windows 7, you MUST download the new version, it´s great!

But, a very good work with nice details and a good spokesperson!
