Howto play mac games on your PC

This tutorial will help you to play old mac games (PowerPete, Factory etc) on your Windows PC.

(all these links contain the same file. Just choose 1 download location)

PC Steps:

1. Download the file from 1 mirror
2. Unzip the file with winzip,winrar or 7zip
3. Open "BasiliskllGUI" in the folder you just unziped
4. Open the Disks tab. Move the disks (under installed disks) to the right using the arrows
5. Click Browse...
6. Select starterdisk and click ok
7. Click browse..... again
8. Select gamedisk and click ok.
9. Click the memory tab. Click Browse..... and select quadra650.rom and click open
Basilisk is ready click OK. You can start your mac by doubleclicking BasiliskII
(optional) Click the computer tab. Select your harddrives (usually C:)
(optional) Browse to /yourwindowsdirectory/system32/driver Now open CD-ROM drivers in the basilisk folder. And open NT4. Move the file to /yourwindowsdirectory/system32/driver

Im getting a lot of request for Mac OS X. There are a lot of tutorials for mac OS x to. Just google for sheepshaver tutorial. Here is 1 i just find that seems to be ok:

How to add games:


You need a special (free) program for that: HFVexplorer. You can download it here for Windows:

I did everything that you said, including the optional parts, and when i click basilisk II, I get a grey screen with a floppy disk in the centre, with a question mark in it. This is so frustrating Please help

You did not configure your disks correctly. I followed the steps again and it still works for me

@riccardoa43 Read the directory in the error report you might need to put it in the windows.0 instead of windows.

When I start it up it tells me disk initialization failed because the disk is locked any idea how to fix that?
