Shoghi Effendi about the Future of Human Societies

In His Will and Testament Abdu'l-Bahá
appointed His grandson, Shoghi Effendi
Rabbani, Guardian of the Bahá'i Faith
with the authority of guiding the
development of the Bahá'í World Community as well as interpreting
the Holy Scriptures (The Writings of the Bab, Bahá'u'lláh and Abdu'l-Bahá).
Shoghi Effendi inspired the believers throughout the world to carry out the
Divine Teachings of Bahá'u'lláh.
Furthermore, He built the majestic
superstructure of the Shrine of the
Bab in Haifa surrounded by beautiful
gardens.

@BookOfFlaws I was not aware they had found Shoghi's Will. Do you have a copy?

And I was always under the impression that it was the Will of God that we were allowed children or not, and I would like to see the injunction demanding that Shoghi should have children. Do you have a copy of that as well?

@BookOfFlaws No where in the Faith does it preach coffee coloured people. 'If all were of the same color the effect would be monotonous and depressing. When you enter a rose-garden the wealth of color and variety of floral forms spread before you a picture of wonder and beauty. The world of humanity is like a garden and the various races are the flowers which constitute its adornment and decoration.'

I'd rather, myself, keep the nations, keep the peoples, keep the enthnicities, keep the bodies and unique genes -- and also keep the various religions of the world, most of which are quite a lot profounder than the Baha'i Faith and which address fundamental existential problems of humanity where the Baha'i Faith does not.

People want real families; not fake families. (6 million unrelated people can't be your real family.) People want real nations; not "one nation" controlled by a distant central authority. Let the races live. End the race-mixing, nation-killing Baha'i Faith.

Great ideas, but hard to accomplish. humanity is far from united.
