Mad Monster Party - Opening Theme

The opening theme from Mad Monster Party, the animated movie that was released in 1969 by Rankin/Bass Productions, Inc., the same guys who created all the famous stop-motion Christmas specials.

Mad Magazine creator Harvey Kurtzman penned the script, and Mad artist Jack Davis designed many of the characters.
The opening theme was sung by the talented Ethel Ennis.

All the famous Universal Monsters make appearances, from Frankenstein and Dracula, to the Creature from the Black Lagoon and the Invisible Man.

Trivia: King Kong also appears in the movie, but was only called "It" due to copyright issues.

I clicked on this just to see the bird explode. I saw this whole movie lots of times but for some reason the only part I remember is the bird exploding. :D

It is a timeless classic! I saw it when I was about 5 and was captivated by it even to this day!!

@cstoczyn Alright, it's ok. I sat down and watched it on Netflix the other night. It was pretty rad. Not my favorite one of those movies, but it was still cool. "The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus" still is number 1 in my book.
