The video is what I consider to be a Virgin Mary Sighting. This Mary Statue is actually a tiny whisker of glass, which flew onto the wafer surface after I snapped a calibration wafer into two pieces. The whisker is 3µm-4µm tall and is visible only when using a Scanning Electron Microscope. I came across this particle during a routine inspection of a cleaved cross section face. As I was moving along the cross section face, I noticed a particle that looked like a statue. Study the particle and you will see many anatomical similarities such as feet, rear, back of thighs, back of legs, a shoulder, an arm, an elbow and head. One also sees a robe with creases and folds that look similar to the way a robe would lay upon a body in a similar stance. What is truly amazing is that this is just a particle of shattered glass.
