Skateboard Sense 1970's Squares Go Safe Skateboarding Film

A 1960's Sid Davis production showing young people how to safely skateboard. Produced for the Pro / Am Skateboard Ass. And featuring Santa Cruz borads we see some pretty tame tracks turned by guys with helmets, gloves and pads. This is contrasted with the dangers of skating without protection and in traffic. I remember being yelled at if I DIDNT ride my bicycle on the side walk. I think skateboards were safer for pedestrians. I also never saw a surfer wear a helmet, but the sharks didnt mind. 8-]
