PRIDE IDOL Houstons premiere singing competition returns for a 4th year of amazing singers and surprises.

The TOP 7 perform songs that hit No. 1 on a Billboard chart! (May 27)!

• NAWALE MOUFKIR - I Will Always Love You, Whitney Houston (ELIMINATED)

• ASHLEY HENNESSY - Before He Cheats, Carrie Underwood

• FREDDY CAULEY - End Of The Road, Boyz II Men

• NINA LOMBARDO - True Colors, Nina Lombardo

NEXT COMPETITION: June 3, the top 7 perform dance/disco songs!

Text-message voting - sponsored by the amazing 104.1 FM KRBE - returns this year and counts for 25-percent of the final tally. Judges scores count for 75-percent.

This years host bar is METEOR, which offers both the contestants and the crowd a superior Pride Idol experience. The competition will be visible on Meteors eight video screens, and singers will have access to a first-rate playback system.

10 p.m. June 3, 10, 17, 24

Returning as judges this year are Joey Guerra, who also assumes the role of Pride Idol director; and Ernie Manouse, Emmy-winning PBS host/producer and vice-president of the Houston Pride Committee. New to the judging table is Miss Money, an accomplished singer/rapper/producer from Houston. Her online show can be heard at radio713.com.
