Very helpful Nicholas. Thanks. This is about the only video available on the subject. Can you tell us anything about how to wear a long tabor please? I have just bought a 14" x 14", and there seems no obvious way of attaching it to a drum sling. Actually, a follow up video for enthusiasts, showing how to tension the drum, what kind of sticks and rhythms to use, etc would be brill.

A nice selection of drums you have there. Can one ask where you acquired the large frame drum with the jingles?

glad you like them. I adapted the big frame drum from an irish bodhran I took the wooden bars out of.. and screwed in bells around the side. it is based on one a drum teacher had (Jim Denly from the medieval group Sinfonye). The two medieval long drums (there is one in the background too) i made my self .. and the square pandiero. I make drums. The others i bought.

That drum - I made it - well converted it - from an Irish bodhran. I took the wooden struts out from the the inside and fixed bells around it - not rocket science :)
