how do you make a golf tube arrow?

The LARP i play has been using golf tube arrows for a few years now and they are staple due the safeness of them. That and LARPing in California we don't want to get sued, haha. our design is very similar to the ones they have with a few more safety features added, no metal ring inside and a nerf ball is used as the knock, but relatively the same. ~ Realms of Conflict, Plot member, Raf.

honest question: is a quiver feasible for such arrows? how big does one need to be to hold a dozen arrows?

The shaft is made of an aluminum golf club tube/shaft. You have to make your own fletchings, but you also don't have to tape the entire shaft.

what exactly is a golf tube arrow made of and are they really any safer than the regular design?

Just remember golf tube arrows shouldn't have yellow covers :)

1000m? as in 1000 meters? i really don't believe that. now, please understand what this video is even about before you make dumb comments. this is about dagorhir. many people have been using golf tube arrows instead of regular padded ones. this guy is trying to decide which is better. hes not saying "watch me shoot this golf tube 100 feet!".
