  • It honestly surprises me how many Aussies dont know about Ozgameshop (website). Seriously, I got Skyrim for $45 on pre-order when Steam was asking $90 and EB $100.

Honestly, its ridiculous what were asked to pay, and the only way we can change that is to abandon retail until they do.

  • It just blows my mind to think that people HAVENT seen Sequilitis.

  • Region locking is BULLSHIT. I wouldn't even mind paying a higher price, but when they just simply don't release a game in every region, that's stupid and not beneficial to anyone.

Also wow, Australian prices are mindblowing.

  • Haha $90? Aussies have it easy. On Brazil launches are $125.

  • @pklovestormomega How did you come across it?

  • @DanThePropMan To clarify, I'm sure this Canada/US price inequality applied to lots of goods. I'm a much more avid reader than I am a gamer, so that's just where I saw it most starkly.

  • Re: Aussie game prices, we saw a similar thing in Canada with books. For a long time from the '80s into the early '00s, the Canadian dollar was way weaker than the American, so for a long time you saw two prices on books to compensate. Then our dollar got way stronger in a fairly short period of time, and now it's so close to parity as to make no difference, but it took a while before book prices were adjusted to reflect this.

But jeez, EVENTUALLY they were. You guys are just getting gouged.

  • @NikoBelic4 They're all out of school.

  • @pklovestormomega Wait what? Everyones seen Sequilitis anyone who hasn't is lieing.

  • "Why do we have region locking?"

"So we can keep screwing with Australia!"

    Poor Australia.

  • Wow I was shocked.

I started watching Sequelitis when it came out and I didn't know it was going to be a series.

So it's nice to see that way later you guys recommend it :3

I played DFO cause of you guys

  • @GBeansauce

Why are the prices so cheap. As a Australian I'm used to being screwed over with game prices. This seems too good to be true. Will now buy more games! Yay!!!
