...okay, you officially suck at this game. You are suppose to catch all the Pokemon you can find, filling your Pokedex. Not only that, you don't use Pokemon Centers as often as needed, you have a fainted pokemon and you didn't even go to a Pokemon Center to revive it.

It doesn't matter.
Does not capturing all Pokemon prevent you from defeating the Gym Leaders and the Elite Four and your Rival? No.
Not everyone cares for getting every single one, and just because someone doesn't go to the Pokemon Center every time a Pokemon faints, that doesn't mean they suck. They could be far away from one.

It does matter. You can't even get the HM05 with how many Pokemon you caught. You have FIVE! Not enough to even get the most basic object from Professor Oak. You need to catch them all to keep getting the items.
What are you going to do when you can't go to One, Two, and Three Islands?

Well, you're right, I'm going to have to hunker down and catch some more. But that's only to meet Prof. Oak's criteria and get those items. I won't actually need to get all of them unless I desire to really beat the game. I'm still able to gain the badges and become the Champion.
