One great tip for any hydro or ebb sytem is to mix 3% hydrogen peroxide into Ph 'd water 1 part H2O2 (hydorgen peroxide) 3 parts H2O ! this is a great folier spray/feed i also use about a cup in my Ph ready resivior which prevents "root rot" and supplies much needed oxygen. If added after "root rot" is dicovered, add small amounts till roots are tanish to white. I also use when germinating and cloneing as well !! more info here >(using-hydrogen-peroxide "dot" com)

@relztem3 If you r really growing "vegetables" a 250 watt will be more than enough light for a small garden, if you r growing "other than veg's" u need 400+ watts or a very big closet for vegies ;) I have grown a 1/2 room of veggies(4xx6 tray and a few aeroponics) with 2 400 watt hps/mh lights. they did great!

Very well explained method. Why did you switch to the drip method from ebb and flo?
Also I hope you keep posting results. I'd love to see what you grow inside. I wish I had a basement. All I have is a crawlspace filled with spiders...which has me thinking lately of what I can do down there??
I changed to drip after I had several seeds rot from being to wet. I live in a high humidity area, and the vermiculite seems to hold moisture more so than other mediums. I also had issues with the ebb and flo lifting the seeds out of the vermiculate at first. But the main reason is it is easier for me to control because I can monitor the moisture levels at the top of the planting pots vs just guessing how much water has been soaked up. I will keep posting, and thanks for the comments.
