I catalogued my video tapes during the holidays and I came across this little treasure. Here is the song "The Melody Within" sung by Ivey Lloyd from the film "Rigoletto".

I'm 18 and I still cry whenever this scene comes in the movie. It's so beautiful and painful at the same time. I've got to buy this for my baby coming soon! So when he's older he can watch good wholesome stuff like this!

@moleberrybush It means accepting yourself and others despite looks and to trust in your heart. Rigoletto could not remove the uglyness from his face, until he let it leave his heart. Bonnie had to learn to let herself tell the truth even if others disagree and to stand up for what you believe and the town slowly learned that looks were decieving and first appearances meant nothing. It is one of those movies that has new meaning each time you watch and I have watched many times but there is more

I grew up watching this movie and many others produced by the company that made this such as: The buttercreme gang, in your wildest dreams, on our own, anything really from the company featured films for families was a great video to watch they all had good morals to them and were worth watch not like this crap we get today!!!

@readandwaiting18 I'm still a kid, and I'M bothered by the media these days. :'( I would not mind these movies with this.... beauty in them that words could not explain. I LOVE this movie. It's one of the few in existence that can actually make me cry, and it's hard to make me cry.
