I never said that HTC's mobile devices with MSM7200 are good with graphics applications. However, some BASIC funcionalities can be done without problems.

  • 'Kay, now leave the PIE, and show us some Videos played on the Kaiser, some 3D games, and so on... because we all heard about the PIE Scroll Fix, and use it as well...

Some benchmarks would be nice too...

  • Sorry, I use my kiser to work (you can see that in the video - lot's of appointments in SPB Diary), it will be difficult to do a hard reset just to run SPB Benchmark...

I just have Worms World Party installed, it runs just fine. There are a few problems in videos, but I always convert them in pocketdivxencoder so safe space on the memory card (really, who needs 700MB video on a PDA with a QVGA screen??).

  • Go to xda-developers and search the forums for an app called GFXBoost. :)

  • That's just plain text, how many websites are that basic now? Google, obviously, hardly counts ;)

The GPU driver slows the whole phone down; when you're scrolling through the programs list, when you're switching between landscape/portrait modes (my HTC wizard thrashes it on this) or writing texts.

I bought it thinking having twice the clockspeed it would thrash my last phone for performance (I even found the Wizard slow) but the Wizard performs better in almost every way.

  • with most of the content is plain text, my kaiser can scroll smoothly.

  • There are other benchmark programs... like VSBenchmark, can be installed on memory card, and doesn't rely on the memory too much...

Also if you had real drivers, the WMP would play the videos normally, and you wouldn't have to rely on CorePlayer, or th PocketDivx player to play optimised videos...
