@mrsoultwister eh In a society that is looking to unify the sexes as equals and give equal rights (women equal to men) there is less and less of a whole "man brings home the bread and butter for the housewife".
By the way there have been studys done. From what I've read they indicate "...no evidence that the development of children with lesbian or gay parents is compromised in any significant respect..."

@TheEhkiddo Same as racism, same as sexism. People used to believe that left handed people are inferior as well. It's an interesting phenomenon, humans always find something "abnormal" to bully others about. Most of the time it's something people can't even choose like sexuality/race/gender cause that's the easiest way to make yourself feel superior.
Hopefully some X amount of years in the future all these bullshit ignorant issues will be filtered out from our society.

@TheEhkiddo Actually it is. Google it. A certain percentage of individuals in a lot of species are homosexual. You can call it a disorder if you must, but it's no different than any other "abnormality" in nature.
Do you hate midgets for being what they are? People who are born without arms? It's the same concept, the difference is that sex is a touchy issue in our society so anything which isn't a "norm" in that category usually causes a ton cotroversy. Standard ignorant bullshit

@sagarat these are all issues that should be adressed, however they don't excuse anything. just because you're poor doesn't mean you're a bad parent or will have bad influence on your kid, living in a bad neighbourhood is a fault of the goverment, not the family that lives there, divorces happen in any group, as for christians, there should be a law that prohibits forcing religion upon children, again these are issues, not an excuse
