The beginning of the trials to get this "custom enclosure" to fit into my 94 diesel suburban. Soon to follow: Dremel slash and burn, E-Dead slathering and a full blown install of the subs and enclosure. This would be considered the "before" video.

  • The hole was easy to cut with a dremel and a box full of rotary blades. The fit problems mainly exist between the sill of the bed and between the wheel well enclosure. Care must be made to test fit the box INCLUDING the plastic facia cover before bolting anything in. lesson learned.

  • (cont):

Expect to modify the window pannel upward some to get the door to close. This project absolutely requres a hacksaw, drill, dremel, and some self-taping screws. Also, speaker wire routing is a test in creativity due to the lack of feed-through passages in the doors.
