@Styxhexenhammer666 This guy is such a phony, did you know he supported the PATRIOT Act as well? PROTECT IP/SOPA is not in the interest of any Vermonter or American and will mean a HUGE infringement on our civil liberties and freedom of speech.

Far from being a "silly old fart," Sen. Leahy has turned his Chairmanship of the Senate Judiciary Committee into the FAKE defender of the constitution and the FAKE opponent of endless wars and war crimes which endanger what remains of the Bill of Rights.
How can decent guy like Greenwald promote this cynical jerk instead of Rep. Kucinich, etc. who work to reverse the insane Obama-Bush policies endangering us with expanded war and torture?

How can Getting Afghanistan Right shill for Sen. Leahy, who as CHAIR of the Senate Judiciary Committee, enabled the gutting of the Constitution, protected Bush from impeachment, prevented meaningful hearings on torture and other war crimes? Either the Sen. is incompetent or shares the Bush-Omama "strategy" of endangering us all with counterproductive wars of occupation?
