i draw without the '9 lines' and geometrical proportions ,just naturaly flaw lines but make a lot mistakes then,so i take inspiration fromVogue etc how to draw a pose, then i draw couple times until i'll get it in my long memory.i like to draw mad unrealistic poses sometimes, like extr. long legs, neck etc:-)
what do you think,is it really better to master this geometrical proportions first (when u draw illustration)or to draw 'naturaly'?because i am afraid of loosing that 'natural effect'...

@latecia1 You should definitely keep your style of drawing! You should never strive for a drawing technique you're uncomfortable with and is not close to your heart. If you're good at the more exaggerated style, keep it and improve it! Don't be afraid to give up the natural effect and develop your own style. It's more important to be able to present your ideas as clearly as possible, and better if you do it in your unique way.
