  • I just can't get enough of Thrice/Dustin. Good lord, I've been listening to it for years, but I never ceased to be moved by these musicians.

It's a beautiful conspiracy how well Thrice can break their music down to acoustics. Goosebumps.

  • i could not have said it better myself.

it goes to show you just how important melody/lyrics are, and dustin knows just how to weave them together.

i truly believe that the day these guys stop making music together will be one of the saddest days of my life.

  • @kvtwhUT did you ever find what the tuning was?

  • what tuning is this in??

  • Good grief Dustin and TT together are so incredible. Does the rest of the world know how incredible this band is?

  • @Trepanation21 Well said

  • I love when they play their songs in an acoustic version. They are the greatest band ever!!!!!!!

  • hell yeah. We have Dustin K. performing in front of a Catch Without Arms poster. Can more good music be put into one spot? probably not.

  • just b cuz people sweep arpeggios doesnt necesarily mean they r "showing off" thats just the music they/i play

  • my god.

  • I think Trepanation21 gets it. Thrice are always in flux. They don't "burn out" in one style - they adapt new instruments with maturity (even a philharmonic orchestra for an acoustic of Stare at the Sun), and they don't need to show off with sweeping arpeggios all the time like a lot of new bands (I still love the intro to 'Alaska' though)- and they're not afraid to explore the different side of punk, which is the Acoustic.
