Woaah...Learning Hebrew just got real intense! I need to practice practice practice my aleph bet and vowels, so I can read! I was wondering how does one read Hebrew if the vowel signs aren't present?
-
@Deutschdude100 no, the vowel point help you to read at the start, then you wont need them because you will know what words sound like without the vowel points.
just like Arabic, there are three vowel signs but no one uses them as soon as they learn how to read fluently.
-
Is this old school Hebrew because I just looked on a couple Israeli websites and none of the websites use the vowel points.
-
I went through your lessons in an hour and they have opened up a new world for me. Thank you for your effort, I greatly appreciate it.

@bnaiorpueblo LOL!
-
the first alephs should be pronounced as aw or uh not ah

don't worry about the idiots. Your course is very, very good. Thank you very much!
I'm from germany and I can understand what you say, so you must be a really good teacher. And the pronunciation is absolutely okay!
-
Thank You! Your course is hard, but your teaching style is very good. I have been wanting to learn Hebrew for some time and I really thank you for your teaching method. I can understand what I am learning! And I am so proud to find myself reading Hebrew words after each lesson!
Thank you

i am an arab and i am well-versed in classical arabic, I can speak all the tribal dialects of nomadic arabic tribes in the Arabian Peninsula.Themore I get exposed to Hebrew the more I discover that hebrew has a lot of smilarities to those dialects spoken by the nomadic tribes in arabia.This might indicate that Maybe classical arabic has evolved from a proto-language that all all those nomadic tribes-(arabic and hebriac) were speaking from time immoerial.
