  • Irrespective of who profits from it and how much data has been manipulated, man made climate change IS happening. We have pushed enough toxicity through our cars and industries in to the atmosphere. It takes one minute of silent unbiased observation and thought to see that.

  • We now know from documents and emails leaked from the Climate Research Unit of East Anglia University that the science is not settled at all. Man made global warming is a fraud and Dr Pachauri one of the greatest profiteers from this fraud.

  • "Dr Pachauri has established an astonishing worldwide portfolio of business interests with bodies which have been investing billions of dollars in organisations dependent on the IPCCs policy recommendations."

Google "Questions over business deals of UN climate change guru Dr Rajendra Pachauri"

  • Non sense.

  • These solar lights is a scam. The person has to go to a recharge station to recharge their lantern. And the cost of each lantern is like $150 and the recharging station is close to $10,000 in the village. I can imagine that type of money being better spent.

  • @sydneydoc: Please post your source! If someone is interested, they can't get the same information you've got.

@ the million lights initiative: Very good idea. Light accounts for 2-3 % of overall electricity use (google for 'energie pelte' > steuerseite > english version > sectors of demand)...

  • Perhaps Dr R. P can give a single piece of actual evidence that man is causing "global warming" ??

Perhaps he can also explain why the IPCC 2007 doesn't show temperatures after 1998 ??

Perhaps he can explain why the world has been cooling since 1998 despite models forecasts to the contrary ???
