Spartan Race Miami 2011

I drove down to Miami to take part in the Super Spartan Race. There are different levels of this race.

Spartan Sprint - 5K (3miles) with 10 or more obstacles
Super Spartan - 8 miles with 15 or more obstacles
Spartan Beast - 10-12 miles with
Spartan Death Race - A 48 hour adventure race that 90% or the participants don't make it through

I did the eight mile Super Spartan Race in Miami, Fl on April 23, 2011. It was a lot of fun and I plan on doing many more

I have a question, When ever i do a race at the beginning im so nervous most of the time i almost quit and during the race i think im in pain and almost want to quit, i know i sound like a wuss but how do you do it, what do you think about during the race?

@piehi2 Just keep going and remember that the pain is only temporary. The feeling of regret you would have from giving up would be much worse and last a lot longer than the pain you feel when you wannna quit
