2011 NCAA D3 Outdoor Track and Field Championships watched a tactical and hot race in wonderful weather at Gauthier Track as twelve men competed against deceptive headwinds toward the finish line. One of them being Principia College junior Drew Clark gave everything he could muster to finish fifth, but being edged at the line by a close competitor from Calvin College
