Gay gurus Michael Brewer and Thomas Alan Berg are at it again - off on another multidimensional travelogue! This time they are beneath the palms on Waikiki Beach poking at sacred cows. They talk about the president of Iran - Ahmadinejad's recent visit to the UN and what his vision, which is suprisingly in harmony with that of may US right-wing conservative, means to gay people throughout the world. This is no time to be complacent. Make no mistake, they mean to deny our very existence. They hang boys in Iran for being gay. There is support for such actions among the right in the US too. This is a time where we MUST stand up and be counted, and we cannot afford to be afraid to dance, to show up and to take our rightful and much needed places in society.
So, come on along with Brewer & Berg, it's gonna be fun!

  • I like your videos, Like mine it is a mix of a serious issue with some comedy intertwined.

I have a question, Did you adopt your daughter?

    -Jill

  • Nope, made the old fashioned way....

  • I'm really happy for you and your husband ^_^

I'm almost 17 and i've been dating a girl for almost 11 months, and we both surely stand up and live normally as any other straight couple.... I've found that .. from what i hear from the generations before us and from what i see around my girlfriend and I, this generation is MUCH more accepting. Makes me SMILE =D

  • Thanks. I agree with you. Our daughter is your age and sexuality seems to be far less of an issue for her and her friends. You all have the courage of efforts of our generation and the ones that came before us to thank for that. Hearing your story makes it all seem worth it...be happy in your lives!

  • Hey Michael, this is a discussion i hope we will continue in person in reference to your not dancing to celebrate your honeymoon....As a person of color who has been often made aware of my "difference" i encourage you to simply own your divinity and right to be within yourself and miraculously you will notice that the "others" will strangely accept. Be grounded and true to yourself and other cannot help but accept that truth!

    Blessings

  • This is really great to hear...that's what it is all about! PLEASE SUBSCRIBE!

  • This is amazing thank you for the posting it shows what a struggle it is to be gay. I'm a 21 year old queer woman and I try daily to stand up for my rights. This video just pushes me to strive and it was an extra boost of encouragement.

  • Another great video :) Yeah i quite agree when you experience the realization that we are all one all barriers melt away...then just the simple act of walking down a high street & looking at everbody you meet takes on a completely different hue. Your videos are so cool, great material to make people question & think more. :)

    Peace, Love & Light

    Pete
