Jennifer Granholm loses race

No, not the race for election... the race to keep high paying manufacturing jobs in Michigan. She stuck her head in the sand while Mitch Daniels and Hillary Clinton and George Pataki preparred Indiana and New York to poach Michigan jobs.

Delphi decided to close up shop here in the Great Lakes state while protecting jobs in Indiana and New York.

To-date, Michigan has lost 315,800 jobs since Jennifer Granholm took office in 2003. Michigan has the highest unemployment rate in the nation and one of the highest foreclosure rates.

A story in December 9, 2008's edition of the Detroit Free Press claims the Michigan recession extends beyond manufacturing jobs and is affecting EVERY sector in Jennifer Granholm's economy.

Have you ever noticed that everytime a liberal politician does something supposedly good for the state, WE THE WORKING PEOPLE get screwed? They tacked and extra tax on cigarettes for education, budgeted that increased revenue into the education budget, and now, in this economy, they make smoking illegal. Really?
