  • Ah it works on my home computer! Apparently work computer is so dated. I love this! This is funny, this is what I will tell hearing idiot like this teacher how to say hello!

  • @mkrajnak Yay, glad it worked out and that you enjoyed the video!

  • No captions here. :(

  • @mkrajnak It is captioned; captions should come up when you hit the "CC" button at the bottom of the video.

  • @lynnekelly2000 I clicked on the cc and it says captions are not available.

  • @mkrajnak Hmm, that's weird; I've checked it on two different computers today and I can see the captions, so I'm not sure what's causing them not to come up for you.

  • @Sotovl29 Hopefully these are accomplishing that in a humorous way, although that wasn't my goal. I just wanted to make a couple funny videos about some of the questions we get and what we wish we could say. There are a lot of videos about ASL, so if someone is searching for something more educational it should be easy to find. There are deaf people and/or educators in the field who can do those kinds videos better than I could. I chose to make a video with sarcastic cartoon people.

  • @Sotovl29 - It's okay to laugh at us hearing people. This cartoon clip is truly a compilation of conversations that I and many of my colleagues have had over the years. It is extremely funny on so many levels especially because many of us work alone and have these experiences in isolation. So it's great to see it here on mainstream media. There are so many avenues for the information you seek - go to RID.org or NAD.org and you will find your answers. Until then, sit back and enjoy the irony.

  • @11sherri hahahahaha.. thats hilarious.. but SOOO true

  • If you want to do a realy good ASL movie that can have signs in it, use MMD (MikuMikuDance) it's very complicated, but it's not that hard to understand (So long as you get an english copy)

    Its give out free online.

  • Oh my gosh....too funny! I have to explain like this to people about my fiance who's deaf. It is so true!

  • @rickibunny I am hearing, and can't sign much, but I find it very funny anyway ;) I think people who are too lazy to imagine a perspective they're not used to are cross-culturally funny ;)

  • Hahahahahahaha! These videos are great! Hearing people can be so stupid!
