  • how deep of water can hummers drive in?

  • @zx420xz Well manufacturers suggested depth if 2.5ft deep standard(due to electricals etc. Although I have been much deeper many of times without issues. With the deep water fording kit(not much use on civilian hummers due to the electricals) they are rated for 5foot depth and that is drive in the water to 5 feet for 1min, turn the engine off for 1min at 5ft deep then start it up and drive out.

  • That was so stupid, salt water is the worst for a car, hust wait a few weeks and you will si it rusting, if you want to get your car in water go to a river

  • lol the funny thing is how stupid you are for assuming that it is salt water but infact it is fresh water thanks to our great lakes!

  • I do not know if I would call the Great Lakes "fresh." ;) Great to see you posting here, Injunfarian! See you in the CHC forums. :)

  • hahah maybe not Fresh but not too salty :P
