Stan died aboard the AC flight after it safely landed at Cincanatti International Airport, June 02,1983. He and others never had time to get off the plane, we lost a great man, but his music lives on....

I was thinking how great this clip was to know a bit more about the terrible events took such a great man's life. But then they had to ruin it with the god crap. God is a real asshole if he took Stan Rogers from us and left us that pukey woman.

@silvi01977 you are right, i never knew Stan, but as a human being, I have to wonder why some things are the way they are. I think logically, shit, I sound like Spock, LOL , and things happen because of circumstance; not because of a "god." Thats my take on it, and in the meantime, i'll be singing songs all night, surrounded by me buddies, wishing this messed up world, a whole lot of Peace!

No, sir, the story is not beautiful (I agree)and those who survived were not in the plane when the critical flashover occurred. Moments before this, who knows for sure? Here are the facts: Stan was founds about 6 feet from the front right door, face down, pointed toward the back of the airplane. It is not illogical to conclude that he may have been turning around to continue his search for survivors still trapped in the plane. It is one of the few small condolences I have.

Hey, everyone has their own views regarding religion. Leave the god and stuff out of it in regards to those who died in the event. I'm sure some found comfort in their faith, whichever faith that may have been. I am an atheist, and I only ask why are you using this incident as a way to bash faiths? THAT is not necessary. Just let it go.
