Decending stairs using a method that saves the casters and bearings. A little snorkeling and beach time, then back up the stairs using my Cam-Lock invention, LaJolla Marine Preserve. Disabled snorkeling.

  • You are using Hillclimbers right? I can't think of what else would keep the chair from riding out from under. I don't think I could use the technique with my chair - Tilite TR, standard hide-away wheellocks.

  • @silvertip185 Yes, Hill-Holders set in reverse action and of course a seat belt. It can be an off the shelf set up. Not with my Ti Lite ZRA. I'll show a close up on the latest evolution of the build in a vid coming soon. Just watched your latest vid, dude! it's ok to use a seat belt even if you're going to insist on going Kondo-Style...BTW if those stairs were a little shorter, you would not even be able to hold your upwards progress at all. Kudos for trying tho.

  • @silvertip185 I also show some older Hill-Holder setups on some of my other YT vids. I used this method since 1986 without Hill-Holders and started using them since 2000, they make it 80%+ easier and change it from a risky process into a cake-walk.
