@CubsFan2006 well i liked what i saw in the new Orleans game bynum as a starter again LO off bench yet he had like one of his best if not best game of the season, not rebound wise but to score that kinda points in the limited what 25 mins or so is amazing bynum just needs to work on his strength, but i think his post game isn't gonna be the same, the ally oops will still be there but i think his 1v1 post play wont ever be the same, can only hope and watch
@kbdemonbain He's never going to be the same. His mobility is gone. He takes forever to get up and down the court. His size and skills he developed before the injuries are the only things he has left.
@kbdemonbain Yeah true that yo. Lately Bynum isn't doing too bad (except the time when he missed all 4 of his FT's in the Spurs game today). I think Phil is still going to keep him on the bench and have L.O. start for a while. Plus I think Bynum should come off the bench from now on in order to save some minutes of play time when necessary. I'm surprised he still made the All Star Ballot for this year's All Star Game. Heh.
@ericholla990 ya i just hope he can be at least half decent now, but he will never be the same in my opinion theo is hurt and joe smith we got now so hope that helps but bynum is back hope he can get in rythem and average a double double, if he can do that, lakers can't ask much more from him people say they need him for defense but i think we need his offense as well, cause besides kobe, pau and lamar, not much consistent offensive players, artest is not reliable so we need bynums offense
@kbdemonbain i hear you and i feel the same way. the pattern is the same every season for him when it comes to undergoing injuries. i just have a gut feeling it will be happening again in the middle of the season. he could've been an all star the season before his first injury, but now he's different. it's kinda hard to believe in him now after all the injuries he's going through. well, least the lakers have joe smith and theo ratliff who can help.

my biggest fear is bynum will never be the same, or healthy period for years straight
he was becoming one of if not the most dominate centers in the game, but with his injuries to knees might never be fully healthy
