Halo 2: Exploring the Exterior of Cairo Station (No Hacks)

This is a cool glitch I found while trying to beat Halo 2 on legendary. Keep in mind NO HACKS are used to do this. I was playing Halo 2 for PC, so if there are some differences in the two versions that might be why. I was originally trying to bipass the flying elites, when I found this cool trick. Just so you know, you CAN bipass the elites by going up the middle ramp and falling to the right to go right into the door. Once again I'm going to say sorry about the speed. I simply wanted to incorporate how far in the level you have to go to get to the bridge area. Just so everybody knows, exporing the exterior is in double speed in the video, so it looks like I'm walking like normal (since "in space" your twice as slow) but you can tell it's double speed by my fast breathing and the speed of the radar. Also the music is taken from the credits of the game. If you have any trouble moving in some areas (some are blocked by invisible boundaries, or random "gusts of wind") jumping sometimes helps. you can just walk up that white slope at 1:53 the one on the right of ur screen. its alot easier. and you cant really proceed with the mission either, since the checkpoint hasnt been reached, which sucks.

The music on the video is simply the music to the credits. If you go into your internal PC files, you'll eventually find a movies folder in the Halo 2 folder which contains the credits and opening videos. I just took the audio from the credits and put it on the video. And I think you can download hacks/mods for the game that will let you double shoot, but I'm not sure if you can without them. I've never really used hacks or anything like that, so I don't know.

It would have taken one guy only a couple of hours to make this, and then this would serve as the model for other ships. Even though it is big, it is not very and is in fact blocky. This plus the fact that the textures on it are fairly blurry, means you don't have to worry about someone toiling away for days for only you to see it.

I remember doing this the first time I played the map. I glitched it before I even beat it. I always explore a lot in games and this was no exception, it was pretty cool. You can get to a LOT of places too with some creativity. You can even get on the ship

you dont have to grenade jump when you get in space there's like these bridge things going up to a part of the level you can jump on them and them keep on walking on and jump down when you reach the end and you'll be on the ship!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
