The Maple Leafs' 2008-09 season came to an end Saturday with a 5-2 victory over the rival Ottawa Senators at the ACC. Boyd Devereaux had a his second career hat-trick while Niklas Hagman added two goals to lead the Leafs to the win.

Had the Leafs lost, they would be in the lottery. Instead, they won and now hold the 7th overall pick. Good hard fought win all the same though.
