@TwiggViolencexx Has it been successful though? Because there is no way to objectively determine someone's sexuality? Can't the same homophobes pose as homosexuals to enter the bar, but still commit the same crimes?

@ChasingDays why that pub has not allowed straight people in is because of a line of violent attacks by straight men against gay people in gay pubs. My brother, who is gay, frequents the gay bar to socialise and many people have told him to be careful, as from experience, some gay haters posing as gay men would 'pick up' a gay guy, take him 'home' and beat him up or rape him. It's just an extra precaution so that the gays can feel comfortable being among other gays. Gay bars are for gays
