I'd like to thank the End the Fed movement for opening my eyes. I can't believe I used to think paper notes were a good way to store wealth.

I haven't burnt my fed notes. Instead I exchanged them for real money, silver and gold. I even closed my daughters college savings and gave her a pile of silver and gold instead.

This is a hilarious video I wonder how many people would like to see what would happen without the Fed, an example would be early 1900's that saw great economic crisis as the financial situation was unstable and lending dried up. Much like this past crisis but without anything to ensure lending continues leading to complete collapse of the economy. And all of you who claim that inflation is bad go check out deflation's effects on the economy.

fail buddy. consumption does not drive economic growth, that is a Keynesian fallacy. Savings do. There are two types of consumption. Current consumption which is what you are talking about. and Future consumption which you overlook. At some point, businesses begin to draw from the savings of people who are not spending on current consumption, in order to produce goods for the future consumptn. Hence there is no never ending spiral, at some point employment comes back.

If we have Deflation, consumption goes down, pushing prices further down, pushing wages further down until the demand is so low for goods and services, that unemployment skyrockets. Inflation isnt a bad thing when its controlled, and that's the feds purpose, controlling it. if u want to talk about stagflation, in the 80's, it was either 18 percent interest rates, or 25 percent unemployment, take ur pick.

85% of U.S. treasuries are held by foreign accounts... If the world wanted to stop using the US Dollar as a currency, they'd have to sell the Treasuries.  If there is a massive sell off of treasuries, the prices will plummet, and the Balance sheets of over 200 countries would collapse sending the world into a deeper recession. it's called fixed exchange rate, look it up and its effects. The "Stealing of Value" is the inflation target. it prevents deflation, deflation is horrific. period.
