Someone has recommended Green+ for me to take and I am just weary - I am allergic to various weeds and there are so many ingredients listed - I am afraid of having an allergic reaction or something.

I don't blame you for being wary....that's smart...

You could try muscle testing~why not request a free sample ... at the very least show the ingredients to your physician for his opinion.

Why thank you,I appreciate that observation. I also want to be perfectly clear to everyone whose commented. I AGREE!! the BEST is always fresh organic fruits & veggies. Nothing compares. Yet....Please let me add: Green's 1st has been a life saver for me & others when fresh isn't an option. I use it when traveling, particularly flying. Folks too ill to fix meals for themselves, or running out the door it's way better than NOT eating or eating junk. Blessings to all & thank you to all! Jeri

Dried green drinks are processed! THese do not neutralize body acids as they are acidic in the body. Only fresh home made green drinks neutalized body acids. I experimented by having only commercially prepared green drinks. After 10 days the rheumatoid arthritis began to return & hands began to seize up. I returned to fresh home made green drinks 7 was fine within a few days. Anything that is dried, no matter how, is processed. There is no replacement for fresh.

Again I agree...there's absolutely NO replacement equal to fresh...AND this is a great addition to helping keep your diet balanced if you're ill & or overworked.

Green's First s a wonderful choice when you're running out the door or running out of time...its far better than not eating..or choosing another type of on the go option out there.

I've found it extremely beneficial for myself and many clients.

Avoid any "Green Drink" containing nutritional yeast. Google "Nutritional Yeast—Super Supplement or Neurotoxin?" by daystarbotanicals. 'Organic' Vegetarian Nutritional Yeast, contains free glutamate (MSG). This literally stimulates neurons to death, causing brain damage to varying degrees. Plus the EPA has identified the nutritional yeast manufacturing source category as a major source of hazardous air pollutants (HAP) emissions of acetaldehyde. Vitamins are added afterwards. THUMB UP!

My wife and i have been taking raw meal by garden of life for almost 3 weeks now. It's gross at first but i do 16 oz no problem now. We are doing it with the p90x workout. My wife dulludes it with OJ and strawberries and she is a wuss about the gross stuff so if she can do it anyone can. Trust me there! I do straight water. :)
