@mrgodbehere I see what you mean but that is a big stretch of the formal definition. But yeah we ultimately agree.
It is unfortunate that you needed to block SirWinston. Oh well, it goes to show that is not enough to be Secular, you need also to be well informed and free from Prejudices.

@Lucem2 I actually extend secularisation to all ideologies, and failed states tend to cling to some dogmatic ideology, even if not a 'religious' one in its strictest sense. But we can see a causal reltionship between this type of secularisation and acceptence of science etc.
SirWinstonChurchill is a homophobic/Xenophobic asshat who I have blocked due to not having the time or patience to put up with his rediculous pseudo-genetics/pseudo-philoso

Well, North Korea and Cuba are more Secular than Italy, USA or Israel, yet those two nations are basically failed states. Secularism into itself is NOT necessarily a superior form of Social Organization, you need more than Secularism. Fortunately, long term we are heading in that Direction, no doubt.
Sure, Reproduction is the cornerstone of Biological Evolution, I just don't see why are you bringing this topic here. !?

Secularization... Evolution...
Mammalian evolution is only possible with heterosexual relationships.

Islam is a suicide vest lashed to a child at birth and becomes a real bomb in a little over a decade.
If I don't have a 2nd Amendment right to own a gun in New York City, then Islamic nutjobs don't have a 1st Amendment right to strap a bomb to a ten year old child.

@heterodoxism No no, I am just being a burk!
-
@heterodoxism PS- I quite as capable of saying something stupid as the next person. Big whoop wanna fight about it! ;-)
-
@heterodoxism peronal= personal when you have a mild dose of flu and typing dyslexia ;-)
I am also a bit fed up with it, TBH, and I think that oversimplification is a real problem; in many many areas. This is one particular example of that.

@mrgodbehere Well, that is also true, no contradictions. See, this is where Government and Organized Religion functions overlap. Goes without saying that I'd rather have a Modern Secular Government to maintain Law & Order, but I'd not be surprised that within certain population/context Religions accomplish that more effectively. But it doesn't have to be either-or 'cuz both are complementary even in developed, high educated countries.
Wow, thanks for the song link.
You are very talented.
Well done but I don't equate Security with Secularization.
In fact it might sometimes be the opposite since one of the functional roles of Religions is to keep people in line. But yeah, Groups Dynamics is not easy as B&W.
Love that BG music what is it !?
