S30V is excellent steel, but like most powder steels, it can be a sonofabitch to sharpen. It's just a notch under being tool steel. My Kershaw Leek G10 lost it's edge on cutting up a big heap of pasteboard boxes.....took me forever to get the hair poppin edge back on that S30V blade. That won't deter me from buying a Paramilitary 2 though.....I want one! And I better get one now, because I believe it may be a special limited production if I'm not mistaken.

@Lex5576 I find that S30v is actually a breeze to sharpen. I also wouldn't worry about them being limited. They are a very successful knife from spyderco, remember the FFG delica's? They were supposed to be limited but I think that when spyderco saw how popular they were they just kept making them. The Para Military 2 has had limited runs but the one like mine will most likely be around for a while. However, They are still awesome and you should still pick one up right away as you will love it.

@Lex5576 if you need more proof ask thecajunblaze on you tube what he thinks about the knife.

"The Outstanding" most over used way to describe a knife, channeling Nutnfancy. Other than that, I liked the video. Good review.
