This is the cream flower for the cream, brown, and black group in the flower swap hosted by whimsyflower on Life at the Scrapbeach. Jannaviles uses a similiar technique to create a loopy flower with a different look- check her out.

  • Can you tell me what the length you used and the size of the circle was?

thank you. oh and I love it, I plan on making some.. tfs.

  • @babescraftroom The circle was 1 inch. I just made the length as long as my fabric- which didn't matter because I cut it off when it was full enough and used the leftover piece to start the next one. Because of the ragged texture on the ends you cannot tell where a new strip began, so it doesn't matter. I would just make it as full as you like to your personal taste. :)

  • How did you get the ridges on the white fabric?? Still puzzled on it because you didn't show it.

  • @MGarciareporting I sewed the lace on top of the white fabric and then cut slits like a grass skirt effect along the edge, and folded as I glued it down. Folding it at the base makes it fan out and creates the ridges.

  • 2:33 D-Did she just grow more hands?

  • @TheGreenRugShow Lol...That is my son..who really wanted to be part of the video. :)

  • I love the flower. But you are far too off from the camera view. :(

  • The "Yes!" outburst in the back--hilarious! Nice work, btw.
