Hi there, Sorry to inform you about this but using the voicing slider to detune the bassline isnt always viable because of phase issues. You see club PA systems usually sum the track to mono so you can lose a lot of the impact of the bass by using voicing to detune in contrast to resampling with layers of massive, the best bet you have is to export to mono and see if you are running up any phase issues then slide the voicing to get the best possible reese sound.

thanx dude!

This tutorial is the first really useful one i found on making a good sounding reese bass.
Anyway i tweaked the low end bass with an EQ and also tuned up the high's off the bassline to give it more clear sound, mixing with beat might sound muddy though.
Thx again!

Thanks for the tut...
How do you overcome that slow phaseyness on massive timbres? Have you noticed, its like the original signal is too slow.........
The result is that sloppyness you here ,like at the end of this example...

If you talk about the phase effect, it is caused by the detuning of the main OSC (0:59)
