Health Canada Abuse

Once again Health Canada imposes draconian measures that resulted in the Suicides of 2 people and the hospitalizations of many more. Are they really protecting the Health of Canadians or the Health of the Pharmaceutical Industry. In 2003 Health Canada seized Truehope's product Empowerplus as it was coming across the border, knowing that it was going to cause harm to Canadians. Truehope is now involved in a court case against Health Canada, that if won will allow for more freedoms in the Health food industry and prevent Bill C-51 from coming in. If passed, Bill C-51 will basically be the end of the Health food industry as we know it by ushering in Codex. This is a call to action.

Health Canada is new and already the worse thing we have done for our country. If you all look at Wikipedia you will see in the first paragraph that Health Canada is well known for being corrupt and the days of Health Canada are numbered. They dictate what products we can consume solely based on profit not the facts associated. I have heard of them wanting to limit Vitamin C doses..a family member was in an auto accident,after taking pain meds for a week or two for pain he died in his sleep.He had told family members it was making him sleepy,he was also Native.They try to put every overactive kid on Riddlin(going back a few years) and teens on anti-depressants.Not sure I ever knew anyone in school on these drugs in the 80's.Painkiller addicts are worse than crack cocaine,personal opinion and observance.

Um when someone starts saying "our supplements assisted patients *far beyond* what traditional medication offers" I start to think they are full of shit. Where's the research? Testimonies are worthless as the placebo effect is well known. The notion that a lay person can create a concoction of herbal supplements to combat a complex psychological disorder is ridiculous. What may be going on here is placebo, or quite simply a bipolar mood shift at the time they start taking the product.
