Dude congrats on the shops...sick sick and beautiful groove to play. I have two questions, if you could answer it would be awesome. I've seen cascara patterns played in various latin styles of music. So, if a style has timbales on the songs, does that mean that we can use cascara patterns on that style? And if a style does not have timbales on the songs, is it "correct" to play cascara patterns anyway?
What I like is the Shekere which I'm missing in your interpretation of Guaguanco. And what they sometimes do is vary in the melody. Add a quintero an it's done. But a great job in creating a want to move your ass groove
Yeah it's a pain to get consistent, but it's worth it. The trick is to be able to prep for the rim shot. There's no time to waste, but when you get it, it's fun to play!! God Bless!
Thank You dude for taking the time to explain......Primer video que realmente explica el breakdown paso por paso.
