hi i have a bachmann class 66 with dcc sound and the adress is default 03, i changed it to 04 but now for some reason i have to drive the loco on 03 and activate the sounds on 04?

Is the progaming track just a normaly piece of straight track that you have powered seperatly from your main line/loop ? Might seem a stupid question but im only new to all of this. Thanks
